Extended Maintenance Package


This package is extension on the Custom support package. A dedicated team trained for the IC-specific INSIS configuration will be available for providing the following support services:
  1. Configuration of new products
  2. Modifications of the existing products
  3. Development of new printouts and reports
  4. Modification of existing printouts and reports
  5. Consulting IC system administrators for maintenance of INSIS Application servers in the headquarter on:
    • Migrating INSIS to newer version of Oracle Application server.
    • Changing Oracle Application server edition.
    • Clustering and load balancing Application server Forms Services, using Oracle Web Cache
    • Clustering Application server Reports Services.
    • Troubleshooting and tracing erroneous forms and reports processes.
    • Building Application server farms.
    • Changing Application server listening ports and Middle tier hostname and address.
    • Implementing Application server security.
    • Performance tuning of Web server and Forms and Reports services.
  6. Consulting IC system administrators for maintenance of Oracle RDBMS on the central server on:
    • Creating initial INSIS database
    • Migrating database to different platform.
    • Upgrading the database.
    • Implementing database security.
    • Troubleshooting and tracing erroneous database processes.
    • Performance tuning of the database.
    • Implementing distributed database features.
    • Implementing high-available and scalable database clusters.
    • Implementing standby database.
    • Troubleshooting non-standard database backup/recovery cases
  7. Consulting the IC IT personnel for administration and maintenance of the INSIS workstations
  8. Consulting IC system administrators for organizing the database backups procedures
  9. Consulting IC system administrators for database recovery in case of failure

The Extended maintenance package does not include:
  1. Development and/or implementation of INSIS modules and subsystems that are out of the scope of the implementation project.
  2. Design, development, and implementation of new functionality that contradicts to INSIS conceptual design.
  3. Changes in INSIS core functions and/or data structures.
Extended maintenance limits
The total implementation time (in man/days) of extended maintenance requests is limited to pre-specified number of man/days per calendar month depending on the service level. When the requests exceed the contracted man/days implementation time the excess is either transferred to the next month or is subject of additional charge according to the agreed man/day rates.
